In announcement 2008-63 the IRS raised the reimbursement rate for mileage expenses incurred on or after July 1, 2008 to receive medical care. Effective July 1, 2008 the new mileage rate is 27 cents (up from 19 cents in IRS Rev Proc 2007-70).
